About

Nova Vocal Ensemble

Nova Vocal Ensemble is a professional chamber choir dedicated to performing the choral works of living composers almost exclusively, especially those with ties to the choir’s home of Southern California. Our collaborators have included Los Angeles composers such as Dale Trumbore and Amy Gordon, film composers Saar Hendelman and Terrance Zdunich, and musical theater composers Sam Johnides and Tony Gonzalez.

Nova has performed in a plethora of different cultural events in the Los Angeles area, including the San Fernando Mission, the Echoplex, West Los Angeles Public Library, E3 Electronic Entertainment Expo and Youtube Global Leadership Summit at the Los Angeles Convention Center, Engredea Expo West at the Anaheim Convention Center, Anime Los Angeles at the LAX Marriott and the Ontario Convention Center, Anime California at the Anaheim Marriott and the Long Beach Convention Center, the premiere of The Devil’s Carnival: Alleluia at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, the Broad museum in Downtown Los Angeles, and Disney’s California Adventure.
